Apartment RIO – Holiday apartment in the historic centre of the town and near the roman bridge, with view to the river Gilhao and a garden square.
This 2 storey 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor (about 85sq. meter in size, the building being completed in 1998) lies in the old historic town centre. The apartment is just a few steps away from the bank of the river and any historical sights or amenities you can wish for, like restaurants, cafés, supermarkets , the old restored vegetable- and fish market and various garden squares, where you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the town.
The apartment is also in walking distance to the public pool and a public gym.
The apartment on the second floor (top floor) is comfortably furnished throughout and comprises on the main floor entrance hall with built in cupboard, a fully fitted kitchen with an American breakfast bar, a twin bedroom, a bathroom, a lounge with a TV and Radio/CD Player, a dining area with a small balcony and view towards the river and a plaza. A staircase is leading from the lounge to the upper floor comprising a little kitchen with a fridge, another queen size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a WC, a bidet and a washing basin. This top floor is particularly well suited for children, who love this little “apartment” for themselves. This top floor also has two more little rooms which can be used to either put up a fifth bed or to store further belongings. All of the rooms are fitted with ventilators to cool down the air in the hotter weeks of the year. For the cooler months of the year the apartment has the benefit of individual heating in each room as well as double glazed doors and windows.
General Information
Prices are given in Euro, but can also be paid in GBP. The price is per week for max. 4 people and include Electricity, Water, Gas and change of bed linen and towels once a week. A charge for the final cleaning of Euro 55 per booking applies.
Please bring your own towels for use at the beach.
A baby cot can be supplied if wished for.
