Not so far away like the Caribbean islands but as well beautiful and with a warm sea also in Springtime. Not such a long trip like travelling throughtout many countries in the Mediterranean sea, in the North Europe, in Africa: you can discover something about all these cultures and what they represented for us, simply visiting our island. Ancient ruines (Kamarina and Agrigento) from Magna Grecia, our Baroque from Spain and the ancient flavours of our food (taste our Atzech Chocolate) will remember the coloured, multiethnic Sicilian origin.
Spring and summers are ideal seasons to come to Sicily. Do not miss visiting our Baroque towns, Ragusa Ibla, Scicli, Modica (where you can also visit the Sicilian poet Quasimodo's house). And also Chiaramonte Gulfi "the balcony of Sicily" and its museums (embroidery, ornithology, ethnic instruments museums). And there is the Archeologic and Naturalistic Parc of Ispica too, only 30 minutes far from Ragusa.
In the beautiful sunshining days, starting from springtime, it is already nice going to the beach.
In the evening, take your time to stay at home, if you like relaxing or barbecuing or simply staring at the sky waiting for romantic falling stars. Downtown, if you like, you can taste our incredible icecreams!!
