Set in the heart of Gascony, Beaux Chenes is a delightful, spacious house of character with a priavte d pool set in large terraced gardens with mature trees and stunning views overlooking the river Baise and the beautiful, medieval town of Nerac. Relaxed and private, yet only a 5 minute stroll along the river or by road to riverside restaurants, the town of Nerac with its shops, parks and amenities.
The south-facing terraced gardens offer both sun and welcome shade under the many large trees. Cherries, figs and walnuts can be picked at different times of the year. Overlooking the sunny pool is a private shaded terrace, one of many areas ideal for lunch and a chilled glass of the local Buzet wine. The 10m x 5m pool with Roman bay has a motorised security cover and can be illuminated for nightime bathing.
The three-storey house is set on a hillside with access at each level. The top level has 3 bedrooms with ceilings sloping into eaves, a shower room and separate toilet. The middle level has a panorama room with stunning views over the river and Nerac, fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar and dining area, a separate dining room, a double bedroom and newly-fitted bathroom with toilet. The lower level features a lounge with bar area, table football, TV with English and French channels, VCR and Hi-Fi. Double doors lead out to the gardens and a large decked terrace with brick B-B-Q. A short stroll takes you to the the old town where free wi-fi access can be found in one of many cafe bars. In the area local Buzet wines and Armagnac can be tasted.
