It’s a pleasant appartament, very close to the beautiful Versilia’s beach where you can find a nice long promenade and lots of shops, bar and restaurants. You can hire a bike or roller blades and go along the cycle path from Viareggio to Forte dei Marmi. You can also find amusement parks for children or you can play tennis or go for sailing or fishing or simply stay to the beach!!. At night you can only to choose between lots of pub, night club and dancing. Hinterland you can visit a lot of small medieval villages or you can go for trekking to the famous Alpi Apuane where you can also visit the Carrara’s white marble mines. In summer you can go for daily boat trips to the small Toscana arcipelago’s islands (Elba, Giglio, Capraia) or to well-know and beautiful Five Lands (Cinque Terre).
On February in Viareggio there’s the famous Carnival where you can wear fancy dress, dance in the streets and look at the masquerades and the papier mache floats.
You’re also close to a lot of famous historical cities where you can go by car o train: Viareggio (1 km), Marina di Pietrasanta (2 km), Forte dei Marmi (8 km), Pietrasanta (10 km), Lucca (20 km), Pisa (25 km), Florence (80 km), Siena (125 km).
