Ideally situated for sightseeing in the Peloponnese the villa is located in Assini a small village on the outskirts of the mediaeval port and citadel of Koroni, which is described in the Rough Guide as "one of the most picturesque fishing villages on mainland Greece". The villa has views over Koroni castle and across the bay to the mountains of the Mani. A 15 minute walk leads to the long and sandy Zaga beach where Loggerhead turtles nest, whilst the waterfront at Koroni with its many restaurants and tavernas is 25 minutes away.
